Xbox One X Black Screen Error: Fix it Now!

Here you will find out:

  • how to deal with this issue
  • how DiskInternals Partition Recovery can help you

Are you ready? Let's read!

1. Reload Console

If you see a blank screen after returning to home, you should hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for 10-15 seconds. This will turn off the console. Next, press the Xbox button on your console or wireless controller and turn the console back on.

If you see a blank screen while watching a Blu-ray Disc, press the Xbox button on your wireless controller. This will open the guide, then click All Settings and select Display & Sound. Now go to Video Options and turn off the Enable 24Hz option.

If you see a blank screen after turning on the console, you need to check that the HDMI cable is properly connected to the console and to the TV and to the TV port out on the console. Also, make sure the TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI). If that doesn't work, perform a cold boot on your Xbox One console as described above.

You can reset your display at any time:

Remove the disc from your Xbox One console (if you have one inserted), turn off the console.

Next, press and hold the Xbox button and the eject button until you hear a beep. First there will be one beep, after 10 seconds there will be a second beep. Your console will now boot in low resolution mode (640x480).

Alternatively, plug the HDMI cable into a different port on your TV, use a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV, or connect your console to a different TV.

2. Use AVR

Try turning your device on as follows:

Turn off TV as soon as it displays an image, turn on the AVR.

Next, turn on your Xbox One console, and switch the AVR input source to your Xbox One. Then back to HDMI or HDMI2. Now again using the Input button on the TV remote control on HDMI1. Then Reboot the AVR.

The next step is to set up a TV connected to HDMI:

Press the Xbox button, then select Settings. Select the tab Display & Sound and click on the option Video Output. Now Click on Connect to TV and select the HDMI option.

Make Sure Your Game Progress is Safe!

To restore your gameplay, you need to find good professional software. Generally, loss or damage to the game can happen at any time, for example, you may incorrectly eject the disc and your game will be damaged, or a virus attack or a sudden power outage, etc., could happen. There is no need to search the Internet for the best software as it is already here and you can find out the most comprehensive information about it.

Step 3. Select the type of file you want to recover, or search by file type later.

Step 4. Scan. Choose a scanning method: fast (takes less time) or full (if good results are important to you, then you should choose this scan).

Step 5. Preview and repair is free for all customers and users of the application. All found video or audio files will be displayed in a new window and marked with a red cross. Select the file you want and click Preview in New Window.

Step 6. Save and export the recovered data. To do this, you just need to purchase a license online for a small fee. Enter the license key in the corresponding window. It is better not to save the recovered file in the same place where it was lost, as this can harm you even more (data overwriting). Always choose a new location for recently recovered files.
