  • Create a new key and save it as DisableNotificationCenter.
  • Open the key afterward and change the value data to 1.
  • Save and close.

3. Reinstall Action Center

If you’re running Windows 10, 11, launch PowerShell as admin (Right-click on Start and choose the option).

- Enter this command into the PowerShell interface:

  • Get-AppxPackage | % { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppxManifest.xml" -verbose },
  • Hit Enter.

- Wait for the processes to run completely, close PowerShell, and reboot.

4. Use Group Policy Option

  • Launch the Run box (Windows key + R).
  • Enter gpedit.msc into the box.
  • Hit Enter.
  • On the Group Policy window, navigate to User Configuration -> Administrative Template -> Start Menu and Taskbar.
  • Find Remove Notification and Action Center and open it.
  • Choose “Disabled” and save the changes.

Roll Back Your OS
